About Oil Changes
A regular oil change is the single most important maintenance service for your vehicle. Engine oil lubricates moving parts, reduces friction, and prevents overheating. Over time, oil breaks down and accumulates contaminants — skipping oil changes leads to accelerated engine wear and costly repairs. At Certified Auto Service in Crestwood, KY, every oil change includes a full multi-point inspection and your personalized Certified Care Plan at no extra charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I change my oil in Crestwood, KY?
Most modern vehicles with full synthetic oil should have their oil changed every 5,000–7,500 miles, or every 6 months — whichever comes first. Older vehicles or those using conventional oil may need changes every 3,000–5,000 miles. Our Certified Care Plan tracks your vehicle's specific needs and reminds you when it's time.
What is included in Certified Auto Service's oil change?
Through 12/31/26, our $39.95 full synthetic oil change includes up to 5 quarts of full synthetic oil, a premium filter, tire rotation and a photo inspection texted to you. Most vehicles; diesel and European excluded. New or returning customers. Additional quarts extra. Our regular full synthetic oil change starts at $59.99 and includes a premium filter, multipoint inspection and your Certified Care Plan.
What's the difference between conventional and full synthetic oil?
Full synthetic oil is engineered to provide superior lubrication, better performance in extreme temperatures, and longer-lasting protection compared to conventional oil. For most modern vehicles, full synthetic is the recommended choice. We use full synthetic in all our standard oil changes.
